Automatic hubs

The selection of 4wd in these vehicles is as simple as shifting the transfer case lever to 4H or 4L. Generally you can change from 2H to 4H "on the fly" (without stopping) but you must stop to change to 4L.

A flashing green "4wd" symbol on your dashboard indicates that the mode you have selected has not engaged. Stop and try again.

With automatic transmissions it is important to shift to Neutral before selecting low range.
