Trip gradings

Trip leaders should always be contacted for all trips to book in and ask questions.

Remember trip classification is a guide only.

Conditions may change since last visited, sudden rain may make an reasonably easy trip into a difficult one overnight.

Trips may be labeled with 2 grades. For example ‘C-B’ meaning mostly

hard with some difficult sections in places.

Trip leaders are to ensure trip members are aware of convoy procedures, radio channels being used, recovery points, and everyone has sufficient fuel for the trip, before departing the meeting place.

Vehicles attending grades A – B – C may be asked not to attend the trip if they do NOT have appropriate anchor points on their vehicle for recovery.

The trip leader has final say in all matters affecting the trip, this includes vehicle, trailer, etc.
